It’s with a heavy heart that I announce my departure of Pharmaceutical Processing as the magazine’s lead editor.
For those of you who aren’t aware, I’ve been the lead editor for the past handful of years and had a BLAST doing it.
In my role, I oversaw the magazine’s print and digital publications, reporting on pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing news (from R&D all the way through to distribution). During my time, I also oversaw the editorial operations for industry trade shows, including the show dailies and live, on-the-floor video interviews for INTERPHEX.
In my last INTERPHEX Live video, I interviewed Angelo Stracquatanio, Co-Founder, Apprentice Field Suite, about augmented and virtual reality technologies and its potential application in the pharmaceutical industry. Fun fact: I was 8+ months pregnant.
One of my all-time favorite video interviews was with the fabulous Russ Somma of SommaTech LLC in the second day show wrap of video of INTERPHEX Live 2016. Not only is Russ incredibly smart, but he never fails to make me laugh!
All that to say, I’d like to have a special shout out to the amazing Reed Exhibitions team. It’s been a pleasure diving into INTERPHEX and working alongside you.
I’d also like to thank the Pharmaceutical Processing team for making these past few years the pleasure they were. And last, but not least, I’d like to thank our wonderful PharmPro readers. Without you guys, the magazine wouldn’t be what it is.
All right, enough of the mushy stuff. You guys aren’t rid of me just yet. I’ll be contributing articles to Pharmaceutical Processing periodically, so keep your eyes out for those! And stay tuned for the announcement of my next adventures.
